दो वर्ष पूर्व जब बिहार के मुख्य सचिव अनूप मुखर्जी ने इनका कार्य देखा तो वो भी आश्चर्य चकित रह गए। उन्होंने इनको हर संभव सहायता उपलब्ध कराने का वादा किया। अब इन महिलाओं को आठ माह पूर्व बैंक से लोन भी मिल चुका है। जिसकी किस्त ये हर माह 2750 अदा कर रही हैं। अब इनके पास अपना 40,000 रुपये भी जमा हो गये है।
चूड़ी फरोश महिला मंडल के अध्यक्ष खोदेजा खातून बताती है हम 20 सदस्यीय महिला प्रत्येक दिन 50 किलो मैदा से 360 पैकेट पाव रोटी बना लेती है जिसमें मैदा 600, चीनी 400, लकड़ी 300 रिफाइन 250 तथा 100 रुपये का मसाला कुल 1650 तथा 1000 मजदूरी कुल 2650 लगती है। हम लोगों को मजदूरी भी अच्छी मिल जाती है। 500 रुपये के आसपास रोज बच भी जाता है। जिससे हमें बैंक की किस्त जमा करने के बाद भी प्रति माह 10,000 रुपये बच जाते है।
संस्था की महिलाओं में मदीन खातून, जोयसा खातून, गीता, हसीना, नजमा, आसमा बताती हैं कि अगर मशीन हो जाये तो उत्पाद ज्यादा होगा। वहीं अब इनके बच्चे स्कूल तो जा ही रहे हैं इनके घरों पर अब प्राइवेट स्कूल भी चल रहा है। जिससे अगल-बगल के बच्चे भी पढ़ रहे हैं। इनका मकान भी अब ठीक-ठाक हो गया है और इनके रहन सहन में भी परिवर्तन आ गया है। प्रत्येक दिन संस्था के सदस्य मधुसूदन प्रसाद श्रीवास्तव इनका हिसाब तो करते ही हैं इनके द्वारा तैयार माल भी ये बेचवाते हैं।
संस्था के अध्यक्ष देवेश दीक्षित बताते है कि सदर प्रखंड में लगभग 250 महिला गु्रपों द्वारा रस्सी निर्माण, टोकरी निर्माण, झोला निर्माण रस्सा निर्माण, लिफाफा निर्माण, अगरबत्ती निर्माण, अदौरी निर्माण सोन पापड़ी निर्माण, सत्तू आदि द्वारा लगभग 2000 महिलाएं सिर्फ आर्थिक निर्भर हुए हैं बल्कि हुनर मंद भी बने हैं।
