No Delhi data on car fumes

-The Telegraph New Delhi: Pollution may be at alarming levels in Delhi but the state transport department does not have annual data on the number of "Pollution Under Control " certificates issued by it, the Central Information Commission has lamented. An RTI applicant, Deepak Juneja, had in January sought the number of PUC certificates issued to different classes of vehicles and the number of testing centres. He had also wanted to know the licence fee collected by the department in the last five years. Please click here to read more.
